by: Antoine de Saint-Exupery

                                                                           FROM :http://www.lepetitprince.com/70ans/

The year 2013 marks the 70th anniversary of The Little Prince.

The first time  that this novel was published was in the United States in April 6th, 1943, 70 years ago. Since then, the book, written and illustrated by the French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, began circulating and has become in time one of the best known novels, which has been translated into several languages.
Perhaps one of its famous line, spoken by the fox is:

IN FRENCH:
"On ne voit bien qu´avec le coeur. L´essentiel est invisible pour les yeux".

IN  ENGLISH:

"Here is my secret.  It's quite simple:
One sees clearly with the heart.
What is esssential is invisible to the eyes".

Now, you can watch different parts of the film:

HISTORY.- AND THE EARTH WAS CREATED...

Once Upon a Time… Man (French: Il était une fois… l'homme) is a French animated TV series from 1978 directed by Albert Barillé.
The series explains world history in a format designed for children. The action focuses around one group. The same familiar characters appear in all episodes as they deal with the problems of their time.
The series' opening and ending title sequences famously used Johann Sebastian Bach's piece Toccata and Fugue in D minor as the main title theme music.

The first episode is AND THE EARTH WAS CREATED...

You can watch it in Spanish, too!!
